Why do you blog?
After an interesting conversation I pose a simple question and my answer to the blogging community. Why do you blog? I really want to know your answer, I’m interested to read everyone’s answer to this question.
I have answered this question in the past but I will briefly re-visit my answer for this short post. In short, I write my blog the same as I used to write in my journal. I use this blog as a release. I let go of some of the things floating around in my head. I rarely censor what I write, rarely spare the feelings of others on my blog because these are my thoughts, my world. I appreciate the comments people leave, really get to learn about them and others perspective on things (see Tyson we see things the same way), however, most of the time I have plotted my course of action, decided what is best for me, or the situation is over by the time I post, so comments that are left rarely affect my actions.

Hmmmmmm. why do we blog? I blog because I like to share my thoughts on paper in this case blogland. I like to get people opinions on issues in my life. Sometimes I blog to make people laugh about the stupid ish that occurs in my life on a weekly basis lol. Bloging is like a creative writing class minus the grade. Everyone gets an "A" all of our writing styles are unique an are a form of us. That's why I blog.

I blog because I want to. End of story! LMAO let me stop.
Ummmmm yea I agree that by the time I get to this computer, I've already made my decisions and have moved on. However, whether consciously or subconsciously, we all seek validation from others when we write. Yea sure we've already cried the river, built the bridge and have transgressed moving towards the next experience, but we still like to see responses others have. I myself love to come back to see what some of ya'llz comments are to my post and sometimes it helps me to even better understand myself. For I am not God so I don't know everything. I just purport to know slightly less than everything! LoL.

I like to blog cause it allows me to open up in ways that I didn't realize (or care to realize) before. It gives me the chance analyze myself and people to analyze me through the power of words. It also gives me a sense of freedom after I do it.

my first blog [adult swim] was created to help me get over the fear of becoming an adult.
My second blog //dreams in a fitted// was created to motivate me to acheiving my dreams. Not only does my blog chronicle my life, it gives me a platform for self accessment and to speak about how I feel about the world.
I also use it as a means of entertainment for those who wish to read it.

The main question is, how do I feel about comments on my blog:
I welcome comments, and get very excited when receiving them. I know that the comments I receive are always constructive, and I love to see people's perpecive. The comments really bring my blog to life!

Well I blog for several reasons. Primeraly, I need some kind of outlet of my inner feeling that may or may not be addressed on a regular basis. Some things are easier to be written/typed than being said aloud. You may call it a journal or diary for all the queens who may wish to call it that, lol!
It is a good way of keeping track of ones thoughts on a time table without easily losing its documentation.
I also blog to share my fun times with friends and friends of friends. I have met a few bloggers and can call them friends.
There is a main reason I should of placed after the primery purpose, I need advise sometimes. I have had identity problems, and growing problems, as well as emotional problems. I realize that I am not the only one who faces daily problems and mishaps. I may be a lil handicapped because I was sheltered mostly until the age of 17/18. Then somewhat sheltered until the passing of my mother. There are others who have these problems that may be able to lend a word that could help me along the way. That is all lol

I began blogging to find my voice. A little over two years ago I knew nothing about blogging. After starting I'd found all types of blogs on the net--comedy, political, social, gossip, etc. I didn't really know what catagory I fit. So I began writing my thoughts and realized I didn't have to fit into a catagory.
Blogging has been a great outlet and communication tool. It helps me reach people I may have never interacted with under "normal" circumstances.
I love the exchange of ideas.

I blog to remember, to have someone(s) to bounce both the trivialities and the non-trivialities of my life with that will at least be outside of the situation. Could I talk to my man? Yes, but he is not ever removed from the situation so what he says would be biased.
I do it for the community as well. I don't have many friends, my time table is just too full. So I make friends through blogs etc in a vain attempt to be social on a level different from World of Warcraft and bitch sessions with the few friends I do have.
I do it just because!
